Solid overall, with minor room for growth

I opted for the Marketing Hub Starter plan. The pricing for annual billing was fair, and the features like the landing page builder and form builder are quite robust for what we pay. Delivery of access was immediate, which was expected. Customer service was helpful when I had a question about contact tiers. My only slight critique is that while the drag and drop editor is mostly intuitive, some advanced customization options felt a bit buried in the menus. Overall, it's a very capable platform and good value, but I hope they streamline the UI for deeper customizations a bit more in the future.

Always a smooth process

Another year, another renewal for Marketing Hub Professional. The upgrade process was as straightforward as ever, just like last time. No unexpected hiccups with billing or feature access. It's why I keep coming back for our business needs.

So excited about Sales Hub!

I just got Sales Hub Professional for our team and it's incredible! The pipeline management is exactly what we needed. Setting up custom objects was surprisingly easy too. I can already tell this will boost our sales big time. Definitely recommending this to everyone I know!

Comprehensive CRM experience

I recently upgraded to the Service Hub Professional and the whole process was quite good. Ordering was done online, pretty quick. Delivery of access, of course, was instant. I did have a question about integrating the knowledge base with our existing site, and the support chat was responsive, giving me clear instructions within about 15 minutes. The quality of the features, especially the ticketing system and customer feedback surveys, seems solid so far. It's user-friendly enough that my team picked it up quickly, but still powerful. My only minor note is that some of the reporting dashboards took a little longer to customize than I expected initially.

Good value for my startup

As a first-time buyer, I was really focused on getting the most for my money. I signed up through their HubSpot for Startups program and got the 90% discount on Marketing Hub Starter. That was a huge saving for us. The features for that price point are impressive, especially the email marketing and list segmentation. It felt like a really smart purchase, offering a lot of functionality without breaking the bank for a new business.

Does HubSpot charge per user? Or is it more of a flat rate for a certain tier?

C Cleo 1 month ago
For sales and service hubs, they definitely charge per 'paid' user, but marketing contacts are a separate thing. It gets a bit complex but you generally pay for each sales seat.

T Todd Vargas 1 month ago
Yeah, for sales and service it's per user, but the marketing hub pricing is more about how many marketing contacts you have and the features you need.

Does HubSpot integrate well with WordPress? Planning to use it for our new site and want to make sure everything plays nice.

M Mia D. 1 month ago
Yeah, there's a pretty good plugin for WordPress. It's fairly straightforward to get forms and tracking integrated.

R Rosa 1 month ago
Totally. Lots of people use WordPress with HubSpot. The plugin works fine for basic stuff like forms, pop-ups, and analytics tracking.

Thinking about switching from Salesforce to HubSpot. Has anyone made that jump? Is HubSpot much easier to use, especially for a small team?

R Rachel Walsh 1 month ago
Definitely easier, imo. Salesforce felt super clunky and complicated. HubSpot's UI is way more intuitive and everything just makes sense. Less training needed for new hires too.

I moved from Salesforce last year. HubSpot is much more user-friendly, especially for marketing and sales integration. Salesforce is powerful but has a steeper learning curve.

Does HubSpot do monthly billing? Or do you have to commit to a whole year upfront for their paid plans?

C Chris L. 2 months ago
They do offer monthly billing but it's usually more expensive. You get a discount if you pay for the whole year at once.

M Mike G. 2 months ago
Pretty sure they have both, but you save a decent chunk by going annual. I think it's like 10-20% off for the yearly commitment.

Hey, wondering if the free CRM is actually free forever or if there's some kind of catch after a year or something? Don't want to get locked in.

D David Vargas 1 month ago
Yeah, it's actually free. I've been using it for a while now and haven't had to pay anything. You just get less features than the paid versions.

N Neil 1 month ago
Can confirm, it's not a trial. You can use the basic CRM stuff indefinitely without paying. It's pretty good for small businesses starting out.
